ANIME – HOME

I don’t know what it’s called. My friend was telling me about it though. It’s about this robot who’s a maid, and she’s a good baseball player or something. And she can’t live for very long because her battery is dying and no one makes that type anymore. So the maid and others try to find her creator to see if he can make another battery for her, but it turns out that he died. She was gonna like run away or something but in her creator’s house they found another battery made especially for her.
I think that’s how the story goes. But I need to know the name. Any ideas? I was thinking of Mahoromatic…

Its Mahoromatic. It has 2 seasons Mahoromatic Automatic Maiden and Mahoromatic Something More Beautiful.

I see this a lot in anime, in like, every anime I’ve ever watched. How can they live by themselves, how do they pay rent? The characters I’ve seen like this never have a job so what do they do to stay there? I know it’s fictional and all but like, it doesn’t make any sense.

I agree and i will cite one that has bothered me for years: Suguru Misato in "mahoromatic"

He became an orphan at 10, yet was allowed to live by hismelf in a house for four years. I don;t remember having that much gumption at 10.

where did the money come from?
How did he write a check, when he legally could not (what ID?)
Didn’t child welfare every try to step in?

No job
No income
No help

It’s confusing
