Lol. I watched ranma 1/2. But well, all anime never show… it’s always censored, sorry. Lol. Anyway, Inuyasha should be good. The voice actor is the same as Ranma, and it’s by the same company. I’ve never watched it before, so I don’t know where you can watch it, but… yeah. And I’m pretty sure there’s comedy.
Hmm… Naruto is nice… there’s a lot of action, yes, but there’s plenty of comedy too. Also, from time to time Naruto will transform into a nude girl… O.o And then the perverts will get nose bleeds after seeing him. Lol. But it’s censored by clouds. So yeah. Watch in on http://www.narutowire.com .
Erm… you might like Love Love. It’s a short anime, no action. Harem, comedy and a little romance anime. There’s nudity, but of course censored. But it’s less censored compared to most anime I’ve watched. It’s almost hentai, but not. No sex. Watch it on http://www.crunchyroll.com . There, you can also find a lot of other almost-hentai anime. I guess it’s called ecchi anime? O.o

This anime is about Mikan and her adventures once she enters the school. This anime reminded me a lot of Kodocha (kids who are in love). Nothing romantic actually happens (no kissing, but in the manga they do kiss). If you watch all this anime and you want to know more, I would recommend reading the manga (which is ongoing).

Her best friend (not) named Sae is evil. Sae tries to mess up everything Momo has (especially her relationships).

I am brainstorming to create a new manga. Now, I want to ask fans of manga, what are the things that make there favorite manga's truly their favorites? Please be specific.
in my opinion you need to start with a basic premise. if you start out with a really complicated story line then it just gets confusing and very few can pull it off. don't get me wrong, you can add complications later, but slowly don't info dump! that doesn't mean that the story can't be fantasy, just that it has to have some logic that the reader can grasp.
i think it seriously helps to have a great drawing style. a good storyline can overcome a not so good drawing style, but it takes longer for people to get into the story and word to spread. mind you a bad storyline with great drawing wont last either!
as for which manga fans love – well that depends on personal tastes, favourite genres etc. for me it is romantic comdies, well mostly, there are exceptions but ones i like that don't have a romantic storyline (even if it is a subplot) are few and far between.
but i think humour is one of the main selling points of manga, the ability to have unreal situaions and crazy characters, say with a squirl living on their head, or one who hits people over the head with their slipper all the time, in th estory line with it adding to the plot rather than taking it over and making it all about slapstick comedy like a lot of western stories/books/movies etc. in other words the mix of physical and mental humour is vital
oh and purely from my perspective – i like reverse harem storylines – lots of boys one girl, humour (they don't have to be fighting over her – see wallflower/perfect girl evolution or ouran high school host club) sue me – i like cute boys and happy enddings
so that is what i think, but i agree with whoever it was who said that you have to write the story that you want to tell – if you try to please all fans, you wont please anyone. write something that interests you, chances are somene else out there will find it interesting too
